about us

Dysfunction Junction started on a whim when Cassie was looking for a horse to keep another horse company. Someone offered her a horse for free - which she thought was quite odd. Then it was discovered that if she did not take the horse, it would have been tied up and used as wolf bait.
Quick as that, this horse found a new loving family at the farm. It started out with 2 horses, and a few chickens. Little by little though, people started asking if she would take animals in. There were goats (that had 3 legs) horses that were missing eyes, chickens that were being sold as meat birds, bunnies that people thought were pregnant, retired show alpacas, the list goes on and on. It was then that she decided to open the non-profit animal sanctuary and help all these animals in need.
She's not done just yet though - her ultimate goal is to start working in conjuntion with local therapists to connect disabled animals & people together for therapy.
