WHO WE ARE.
Dysfunction Junction is a 20 Acre micro-farm animal refuge nestled in the beautiful landscape of Amsterdam, Montana. The majority of the animals we take in have a type of disability, however, others have been rescued from neglect, abandonment, old age or compassionate owner surrender. It is our goal to give all the animals a second chance at life, love and eternal happiness.
WHAT WE DO.
Our family farm takes in animals from all walks of life. For the animals that are disabled or elderly, they are welcome to live out the rest of their days in peace, while frolicking through the pasture fields and getting lots of treats, love, and attention. For animals needing medical care, we work with several vets in our area to get them the help they need, and help rehabilitate them. Think of us like "Hospice" for farm animals!
WHY WE DO IT.
We are animal lovers and pet owners. It is our belief that all animals regardless of their age deserve a loving family. Too many times farm animals have been killed because they broke their leg, ran out of breath easily, are blind, hard of hearing, or planned to be used as hunting bait. (Yes.. people do that!) These animals are unique, special and some of the kindest, most appreciative animals we have come to know. Once they are out of their existing situation - given a little bit of time and patience, their personalities just shine through and bring joy to all the people around them.
HELP OUR MISSION.
You can help us in our fight to save farm animals by donating money or much-needed supplies and equipment for our work at the sanctuary and beyond.
